and municipalities, name in katakana syllables, with provision for
manuscript date entry and strike of personal seal of censor.

A certain Sergeant Major Sumitani Yoshiaki of the Iloilo Kempei Buntai was tried, 
convicted and sentenced to death and hanged as a war criminal by the War Crimes
Commission after the liberation of the Philippines.

tied with manuscript date cancels. Mail directed to Cabanuatuan where censored.

30c Rate for 15c triple internal rate and 12c registration fee (overpaid by 3c).
Registration fee reduced from 16c to 12c on March 1, 1943.

Peñaranda Post Office reopened on December 16, 1942.
